AquaEye

Handheld Intelligent Sonar

for Fast and Safe Recoveries

Is your team prepared to perform a fast and safe recovery?

A dry diver is a safe diver: on average, AquaEye reduces search times by 90%.

Recovery teams around the world have implemented AquaEye as a first-in-the-water system to rapidly locate missing people and drastically cut dive time.

AquaEye’s intelligence and un-matched portability means your team starts the investigation and indicates dive targets quickly.

AquaEye - What it does

With AquaEye, rescuers can identify victims for the first time within seconds of being submerged underwater. This change in tactics can also have a positive impact on the safety of our dive team. The fewer the dive team members entering the water, the safer our team will be.

AquaEye’s Target Display

AquaEye’s onboard intelligence trained with machine learning indicates what objects in the water are likely to be human, taking the guesswork out and allowing you to clear areas quickly – target your search.

It takes 10,000 hours to be an expert. We’ve trained AquaEye on over 10,000 scans to identify humans in the water.

Interpreting traditional sonar images requires extensive training – AquaEye has learned for you.

AquaEye Vs Side scan

AquaEye has reduced search times by an average of 90%.

A short search is a safe search, and gives you the best chance at success.

On arrival, one of them immediately went into the water with the AquaEye, while the other was suiting up. He had a probably target on AquaEye in approximately three minutes. Instead of 180 degree arc, they were able to reduce the search to a 15 degree arc each pass taking just a few kicks from the diver. The actual search area was reduced by at least 80 percent! The victim was located on the fourth pass.

From the time of arrival to location of the victim was only about 15 minutes. Total dive time, including initial investigation, was only 7 minutes
